Maybe you have a party coming up & you need an appetizer that is #Whole30 compliant, I happen to love this one… _______________________ BACON WRAPPED SWEET POTATO BITES: Heat your oven to 350 degrees F. Peel a large sweet potato/yam (the orange one not the white sweet potato). Chop it into bite sized pieces, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with cayenne. Cut the bacon in half so the pieces are shorter (you must use sugar-free bacon for this recipe for it to be compliant). Wrap the bacon around each piece & secure with a toothpick. Place them on an ungreased baking sheet so there’s room around each piece. I had extra potato pieces, so I scattered them on the pan too. Place them in the oven for 45 mins, flipping them as needed so they cook evenly. (It’s easy to flip them with the toothpick.) you may need a little longer than 45 mins, they’re done when the potatoes are soft & the bacon is crispy. Place

ZINGY CROCK POT BBQ CHICKEN This is so easy to make and very tasty!… Ingredients: 6 frozen skinless, boneless chicken breast halves 16 oz chicken broth 1 Tbsp Apple Cider vinegar 1 tsp Slap Ya Mama or other cajun seasoning 2 tsp. garlic powder or minced 2 Tbsp minced or chopped dry or fresh onion salt and black pepper 12-16 oz bottle of Good Barbecue sauce (I use Sweet Baby Ray's) 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing 1Tbsp Franks Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce Directions: Place chicken in crock pot. Cover with chicken broth and apple cider vinegar, season with garlic, onion, Slap Ya Mama, salt and pepper. Cook on high for 5 hours. Drain broth and then pour in the other ingredients and cook on low for an additional 2 hours. Remove chicken from pot and shred breasts. Pour remaining sauce over top of shredded chicken.
